3. Silicon Saxony Day, 18. - 19. March 2008, Dresden
 | In this year the european semiconductor exhibition and conference with the motto "Silicon Saxony - the future" took place at the Dresdner Messe from 18th to 19th march. The members of the "Dresdner Fab Automation Cluster" (DFAC), to which also the AIS belong, represented at a common booth at the "3. Silicon Saxony Day". 5th Innovationsforum, 24. - 25. January 2008, Dresden
On 24th and 25th January the already fifth Innovationsforum for automation in the semiconductor branch was hosted and the founder members of the Dresden Fab Automation Cluster (DFAC) can look back on two very successful days.
The forum took place in the Qimonda AG. In this year the "Automation Award" was awarded within the evening event on Schloss Eckberg to the Schott AG for its innovative und efficient automation solution in the photovoltaic production.
The forum was started by the companies HAP GmbH, Ortner c.l.s GmbH, Systema GmbH and AIS Automation Dresden GmbH. Since already 5 years Innovations of the Automation branch especially for the semiconductor branch where presented and discussed.
