Opening ceremony of the 2nd new company building, 22nd November 2007, Dresden
On November 22nd AIS celebrated the opening of the 2nd new company building. About 120 guests took part in the celebration and could have a look at various presentations to different topics from the field of automation and information technology. During a company tour the guests got to know the new company building. There was a large buffet and refreshments were served for all guests to pleasant Swing- and Jazz music. A magic show let the evening finish off in relaxed atmosphere. It should be pointed out here, that we want to thank all supporting lecturers for the felicitous contributions. Also we want to thank all guests, who made this opening ceremony to an unforgettable event.
AIXTRON INC. in Sunnyvale/ California will implement Cluster Tool Controller from AIS in future

Dragon boat festival, 23. - 24. June 2007, Dresden
Within the "Elbhangfest" at the bank of the Elbe the already 16th dragon boat race took place from 23. to 24. June. Since some years the AIS rank among the sponsors of the festival and competed with its team "Bug Attack" again in this year. The team competed against five other teams for the " technology cup", but droped out and finished second. The "software-cup" which was sponsored by AIS was hand by Mr. Gerlach (Vice President, Marketing and Sales) to the winners.
Topping-out ceremony for the new company building, 25th May 2007, Dresden
On May 25th, 3 months after the start of construction, the building shell was structurally completed. With a topping-out ceremony it was inaugurated among the employees and in the construction involved companies. In support of the local economy only regional companies are involved in the realisation of the construction project.
Up to now the implementation of the development is on schedule and therefore, the planed completion and delivery at the end of November, as well as the move-in at the beginning of December nothing should be in the way.
