VMEC – VAC Modular Equipment Control

The fastest way to equipment control

VMECVMEC is a development kit comprised of software components for controlling and visualising equipment modules. VMEC is based on the VAC NT/32 automation platform.
VMEC is a component library. The concept is based on software components presenting the actual hardware structure. These are tested, reusable and contain all the functions for control and visualisation. All components report during runtime on the graphical sequence editor (editor for creating the control sequence). Here you can create any control sequence and freely select the parameters for the individual groups.

Build new solutions:
  • Creation of new components using templates and design guidelines
  • Expansion of existing components using the VAC NT/32 development environment
  • Easy exchange of interface drivers (field bus, RS232, OPC,…)

graphicComponent visualisation:
  • Manual operation and configuration dialog for each component
  • Clear display of states, actual and nominal values
  • Complete configuration of all important parameters
  • User authorisation management
  • Multi-client visualisation

Control function of the components:
  • Control logic as Soft PLC with VAC NT/32 or as a PLC program for the Simatic S7
  • ADO database interface (MS-SQL Server, Oracle, Access..)
  • Flexible process interfaces (field bus, RS232, S7 communication, OPC..)
  • Monitoring function with integrated messaging system and error monitoring
  • Interface to VAC Automatic Manager

Efficient solutions - your benefit
  • Comprehensive component library
  • Reduction in programming and testing times through the use of tested software components
  • Integrated simulation
  • Graphical automatic editor
  • Comprehensive online help for components
