VPC-MES - a Software- Framework for production control

The Manufacturing Execution System VPC-MES provides therefore all functions for a comfortable, scaleable production control. An innovative Software- Framework is the basis for the communication and integration of extensive available functional software modules of MES. Technical advantages

VPC is realised as Client- Server architecture and is based on the object-oriented automation platform VAC NT/32 with its extensive automation functions.

VPC is modular in the functions, horizontal and vertical scaleable for different production structures and –measurements and configurable.

VPC has open interfaces for adaptation of foreign software.

VPC uses standard databases (e.g. ORACLE ®)

VPC offers many already prepared function analysis/reporting and the possibilities for project-specific extension.The process stations can be connected over different interfaces to the MES. For it act the available interface objects (Profibus, CAN-Bus, Industrial Ethernet, RS 232, u.a.) of the control system VAC NT/32.
