Equipment Management

The use of all VLC modules turns the line control into a complex equipment management system.

error statisticMessage Archive

Like other process data, the occurring messages are also stored and documented. The messages can be sorted into various categories. Filter mechanisms for model, date and time of day allow the desired messages to be located quickly and easily.
Analysis of the occurring errors can be performed with respect to frequency of occurrence and duration using the VLC functions for Equipment Availability.

Expert System

The Expert System allows you to enter comments and instructions refering to the occurring messages for the individual machines. The production and maintenance personnel can use this information (e.g. problem solution instructions, maintenance instructions, etc.). The integrated filter mechanisms allow rapid access to the information so that all employees have the same knowledge regardless of which shift they work in.
This accumulated information can be seen as growing know-how archive, which is helping to increase equipment availability and to ensure continuously good product quality.

Logbook

The Logbook provides a platfrom for freely defined entries, analogous to a machine or shift log.

Shift Management

Shift management allows you to define shift systems. You can configure shift times and the days of the week. This information is used within the line control system to calculate shift-related analyses.
