Job Management: Production control and job management

Smooth production flow

The Job Management function within the VLC line control supports job planning for any existing PPS systems or ensures job-compatible production even if there is no higher level PPS system in place.
The jobs can be sent over corresponding interfaces from the PPS system or user-entered on the host computer. Based on the production quantity, production begin and end date and priority, the production can proceed according to these specifications. Job confirmation takes place locally on the host computer or online to the PPS system.

All functions at a glance:

Creating, modifying, copying and deleting jobs; both customer- and lot-specific
Job-specific assigning of recipes for the products to be made supported by the recipe management function in the host computer
Defining of actions for predictable nominal quantity lapses and output of a message to responsible managers in the production line
Storage of job-specific information and evaluation in the traceability system
Assigning of priorities for production control
Tabular visualization of all jobs and representation of the process states for the jobs
Printing of job-specific labels
Option: Linkage to the customer-side PPS systems

All Job Management information can be distributed based on the client/server architecture.
