Company HistoryThe origin of a successful company AIS Automation Dresden was founded in 1990 by the current 3 chief executive officers, beginning with 8 employees. Automation of vacuum technology equipment based on real-time control systems was the first successful business segment of the company.The flexible automation solution: VAC NT/32 From the outset the development of an in-house development platform for visualization and control was emphasized, which was intended as the basis for all further business segments. Today’s VAC NT/32 automation platform is the result of continuous development based on consistent use of the latest software technology.Expansion of the business segments
New business segments were added during the period between 1990 and 1997. These include especially traffic engineering and rail technology with automation solutions for marshalling yards as well as production automation in the form of host computers for assembly lines and other production equipment. The development of the semiconductor industry in Dresden beginning in 1995 opened up additional business segments in the area of facility automation and factory automation. The result was solutions for factory-wide monitoring systems and e-diagnostics for the semiconductor industry which are now in use around the world. In 2000, following 10 years of successful corporate growth, the company dedicated their own new headquarters in Dresden-Reick. Today AIS Automation Dresden GmbH with its approx. 120 employees is a high-performance, innovative software house and a long-term reliable partner for its customers. |
