How safe are your data and projects at AIS Automation Dresden?
 
Your data is held on redundant high-performance servers and SAN disk arrays. On a daily basis, all data items are saved on a backup tape library and kept off-site.

Two server rooms are available, each in a separate building with redundant air-conditioning and uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Both buildings are safeguarded by an alarm system ensuring that the security service will be on the site within a few minutes in the case of a burglary.

The servers run latest operating systems and backup software products.

A multi-stage firewall safeguards the Internet connection, and the e-mail gateway is monitored by 4 different virus scanners. All servers, desktops and laptops run a centrally administered virus scanner updating the virus DAT files centrally and compulsorily.

What does AIS for a highly available and safe data storage?

• Training courses on operating systems, security and applications on a yearly basis
• 1 off certification for MCSA Windows 2003 Server
