In October of this year the most important semiconductor exhibition of Europe, the SEMICON Europa 2008", took place in Stuttgart. We informed you about our latest software solutions from the semiconductor and photovoltaic sector and would like to thank you for your great interest. At our booth we also presented you our new VAC Cluster Tool Controller 3.0. |

In this year the AIS was represented together with the members of the Silicon Saxony and the business development Saxony at the SEMICON West in San Francisco. At this point we would like to thank our visitors for the great interest in our innovative software solutions and ongoing projects.
User Conference, 19. June 2008, Dresden
With the theme "innovative software solutions for more efficiency and transparency in your production" the 8th User Conference of the AIS took place on June 19th with approximately 100 participants in the "Fraunhofer- Institut für Elektronenstrahl- und Plasmatechnik (FEP)". In addition to the conference the guests were invited to the evening event at Schloss Pillnitz. There the guests were received with sparkling wine at the balcony and the perron of the Waterpalais. Afterwards the guests could enjoy an idyllic tour through the Schlosspark. At the following common dinner at the terrace of the Schlosshotel the talks of the day were deepen. At this point we would like to thank the lecturers Mrs. Rizvi (AIXTRON Inc, Genus) and Mr. Kratzla (OC Oelikon Balzers AG), Mr. Strauch (Plastic Logic GmbH), Mr. Rixner (DB AG) for their support. We also would like to thank our guests, which made this day interesting and eventful.

Again this year the AIS presented at the Automatica in Munich - international trade fair in the field of robotics and automation - its newest, innovative software solutions for the suppliers for car manufacturers. We would like to thank our visitors for their interest. On June 13th, at the " Messenachwuchstag", within a project the AIS was visited by two groups of pupils at the booth. There the pupils could gain insinde in the different business segments and branches of the AIS. Furthermore them were shown prospects regarding internships, theses and situations offered.
